The Best Investment for Your Overall Health
Anna’s Chiropractic Story:
As a child, I remember often going to the chiropractor with my mom – she would get adjusted for her neck and back pain almost every other week. At such a young age, I never thought chiropractic was something I needed or would even benefit from. When I became a multi-sport athlete in high school, I found myself getting adjusted at least once a month for pain relief. Once sports were over, I didn’t think much of chiropractic care, and hardly ever got adjusted anymore.
Like most young adults do, I went from job to job, in search of something that made me feel fulfilled, leaving me with a sense that I was helping people in some form. While working a more labor-intensive job, new health concerns began to surface. Mainly my digestive and hormone health declining. I began to incorporate different lifestyle changes such as the food I ate, and the supplements I was taking. I couldn’t seem to get over the hump that was my health struggle. Then, due to a mutual decision between my husband and myself, I had a job change.
I landed at TOV.
My life has changed since I became part of the TOV family; I attribute this to regular adjustments, consistent education on how my body works, and the general care for my well-being that I receive from the team here. At TOV, we pride ourselves on educating our practice members so they can make the best decision for their health. We know that knowledge is power, and that care is much more valuable when you understand what is happening inside your body. Not only am I getting regularly adjusted to free up nerve interference in my body, I am also learning how to be in tune with what my body needs.
Consistent adjustments have not only improved my physical health, but have had a big impact on my emotional and mental health as well. Through the care and education at TOV I am more aware of what’s happening in my body and why I am experiencing certain symptoms, which has led to less anxiety and more confidence in what is best for my overall health.
Getting adjusted is the best thing you can do for your health and well-being.
